Congratulations to all the Lean Sigma Students who graduated in Cork Institute of Technology on Thursday 5th September.
Stockil Continuous Improvement and CAMMS, CIT held the graduation ceremony in Cork for Lean Sigma Students who graduated from Black Belt, Green Belt and Yellow Belt after completion of our courses in Spring 2019. Graduations are an important opportunity for students to celebrate their success with family and classmates.
Dr. Ger Kelly Department Head, Mechanical, Biomedical & Manufacturing Engineering and CAMMS Director, Daithí Fallon presented the students with their parchments and Mark Stockil, Stockil Continuous Improvement presented the top student in each class with a special award. Tim O’Mahony, General Manager at Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind, received the Stockil Continuous Improvement Alumni Award for his ongoing utilisation of Lean Sigma Leaning post education. Tim completed his Green Belt and Black Belt with us and has been a key influencer of the adoption of Lean Sigma practice in the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.
The awards were custom produced by Donnchadha O’Connor for SCI. Special thanks to Mike McGrath and Ciara Lavelle from the CAMMS who arranged the event.
