Management Introduction Workshop

Description

This course is a White Belt level course aimed at the management team.  It introduces management to Lean Sigma by explaining Lean and Six Sigma and the impact it can have on organisations.  It will allow management to evaluate the impact on their own organisation and determining the initial deployment requirements while enhancing their knowledge of the system.  Ample time is allowed for questions and discussions.

Senior Management.

Course Objectives

Management will be introduced to the Lean Sigma terminology and history.  Management will be provided with a clear understanding of Lean Sigma and the impact Lean Sigma initiatives can have in your organisation. Management will be educated on their role in using Lean Sigma techniques to achieve organisational objectives.

  • Background to Lean Sigma
  • Continuous Improvement cycle
  • The use of the DMAIC, problem solving tools to improve or eliminate process problems
  • The use of a cross-functional team
  • Understand the relation of project objectives to the organisation’s goals
